Site Management: Hands On Approach

We provide a dedicated windfarm manager to act as a single point of contact for you, ensuring a hassle-free experience for you as the customer. As well as coordinating the delivery of all of the services within this proposal, the windfarm management service includes:

  • Managing the site in line with the annual project budget
  • Maintaining full plant maintenance records
  • Managing performance of planning compliance activities e.g. bird and bat monitoring, noise campaigns, shadow flicker monitoring, TV interference remedial work

Site Inspections: Maximising Long Term Asset Value

Our detailed full scope turbine inspections ensure that your assets are maintained in excellent condition. Our standard service includes:

  • Conducting a site asset inspection every three months, including:
  • Visual inspection of turbine foundations
  • Visual inspection of tower, nacelle and blades from ground level
  • Visual inspection of selected turbine(s) at entry level including log book, HSSE signage and control cabinets (depending on turbine configuration)
  • Check of substation building interior and exterior, meter readings
  • Check locks to substation & turbine doors
  • Check general site conditions, access roads, crane hardstands
  • Conducting an annual detailed visual inspection of tower and nacelle, including:
  • Everything in the site asset inspection above
  • Detailed climb-down of each turbine inspecting all major components
  • Providing summary snag list to .
  • Co-ordination of snag completion with .
  • Meet with civil maintenance contractor to agree scope of site maintenance works

Contract Management: Providing Hassle-Free Ownership

We look after all aspects of technical windfarm management. Having managed operational windfarms in Ireland since 1997, we have a deep understanding of what it takes to operate a successful windfarm in Ireland.

Under the scope of contract management, we:

  • Manage substation, civil works maintenance and statutory inspections
  • Prepare the annual maintenance budget
  • Provide advice on plant optimization/improvement
  • Conduct monthly project team update calls
  • Fulfil compliance with CRU license requirements
  • Manage warranty administration in coordination with the owner
  • Manage turbine and BOP maintenance service agreements, energy supplier/off taker contracts, land leases, easements and insurance agreements on behalf of the owner
